Padlock and "Requirements" header

Can somebody modify this template to get the padlock and subject header "Requirements" horizontally aligned? —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 21:46, April 30, 2008 (EDT)

I am aware of the "bug" and tried to fix it before. The meritbadge.org mediawiki installation is missing something (I can't quite remember exactly what right now) that prevents it from being displayed correctly. One other solution that I tried will not display correctly on Internet Explorer, due to IE's non-compliance with CSS standards. So we are out on both counts. Both methods work fine on my local install using Firefox. I think I have a workaround that I will try... Scouterdennis 07:12, May 1, 2008 (EDT)
I hacked/fixed the display. I would like to figure out what is wrong with the image resolution. Scouterdennis 07:23, May 1, 2008 (EDT)
Take a look at the code in the Protected policy lock and Protected policy templates. I made them a long while back, and honestly can't remember how I got it to work there. Maybe the code there will help. Maybe it'll put the lock at the top of the page; or, maybe it'll put the lock at the top of the req box. I don't know. Either way, good luck and thanks for trying. —RWSmith, 17:28, May 3, 2008 (EDT)
That one works because it is always at the top of the page. Our requirements section is at a variable position on the page. Anyway, I think that the way it is fixed now is acceptable; the only thing is the horizontal line does not extend all the way to the right.Scouterdennis 17:46, May 3, 2008 (EDT)
Thanks, Dennis. I appreciate all your hard work. —RWSmith, 21:20, May 4, 2008 (EDT)

Edit Section New

BTW, the "Summary:" field was missing (I mean just that; it was simply not there) in my last post (above). If I can duplicate the problem, I'll start a thread, somewhere, on it. —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 21:49, April 30, 2008 (EDT)

Ah-hah! When using the "+" tab (up at the top) to add a new section to the discussion, the Summary field is not provided. I'm assuming this is a change in the latest MediaWiki software upgrade. —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 21:58, April 30, 2008 (EDT)

This template is broken

This template is "calling" for the requirements (filler text) to come from Template:Foo/req, rather than, Foo/Req. We have to fix this and go back and correct all mis-created requirements pages under the template namespace and move them to their proper place, i.e., into the Main "article" namespace, as a sub-article of the parent article... Foo/Req... Or, whatever namespace the parent article resides. —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 23:08, April 16, 2010 (EDT)

Additionally, I found out today (while creating Scouting Heritage) that the "Req" sub-page must be spelled "Req" and not "req". Otherwise, there's a bug that forces the parent article to drop the capitalization in it's first letter. (See: Scouting Heritage/req) Goofy? Yes. —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 23:14, April 16, 2010 (EDT)
