    Poisonous vs venomous

For requirement 4.c.1., the correct terminology is venomous, not poisonous, when talking about snakes.

    Existing requirement:

    4.c. Reptiles and Amphibians
    1. Show that you can recognize the poisonous snakes in your area.

    Suggested requirement:

    4.c. Reptiles and Amphibians
    1. Show that you can recognize the venomous snakes in your area.

Please note, unfortunately, the link to the Innovation Engine ( referenced at the bottom of that page is no longer open to us little people — you now must be a BSA employee in order to log in there. You can still submit your proposal directly to the National Council at the mailing address shown. —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 10:14, April 6, 2011 (EDT)
