I have been involved in Scouting for most of my life. I began as a Tiger Cub Scout and my mother was my Den leader and my father my Cubmaster. As an adult, I have served in various Council, District and local capacities and currently I am my son's Webelos Den Leader, Council Webmaster and Communications Adviser for our Lodge.

After being a user for many months, I joined Meritbadge.org in February 2009 and have enjoy contributing to this site in an effort to repay others for the benefits that I have received.

• I earned the God and Country award as a Cub Scout in Pack 27
• I earned the Arrow of Light in Pack 27
• I was "Tapped Out" for the Order of the Arrow as a youth in Troop 827
• I earned the rank of Eagle Scout, Class of 1993, in Troop 827
• I was honored with the Vigil Honor in 2009
• I received the District Award of Merit in 2009
• I was beaded in 2010, I used to be a Fox and a good ol' Fox to
• I was awarded the Distinguished Commissioner Service Award in 2010
• I was awarded the Silver Beaver in 2011
• I am a Lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association
