The Interpreter Strip can be earned in one of the following languages....
BSA does NOT specify anywhere that these are the only languages available for earning the Interpreter Strip. While they may be the only ones the BSA Supply Division currently has available, you can still earn the Interpreter Strip award for any language (other than English), as well as American Sign Language (ASL), Morse Code and Signing. —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 15:43, August 30, 2009 (EDT)
- We have been instructed that the official "signing" and "American Sign Language" strips have been retired with no plans to recreate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dtesterman (talk • contribs) December 9, 2010. (Please, sign and date your posts on talk pages.)
Custom Interpreter Strips
As far as I know, you can still custom order any language through the BSA Supply Division. (Just because it's not listed at ScoutStuff.Org, that does not mean they don't already have it; nor does it mean that they will not make it for you.) I do expect you'll have to order a minimum (probably, two) and pay a little extra.
