The Venturing Quest Award focuses on the traditions of sportsmanship and lifelong fitness. By teaching about non-traditional sports, this award allows Venturers to learn skills and fitness techniques they might never have a chance to encounter before.

After completion of the Quest Award, the medal may be awarded at a crew recognition ceremony (similar to a Boy Scout Court of Honor), organized by the youth Vice President - Administration.
