The Following 10 items are designated as the Purposes of Cub Scouting. All Activities that cub scouts participate in should be related to one or more of these purposes.

  • Strengthen boys' ability to get along with other boys and respect other people

Personal Achievement

  • Foster a sense of personal achievement by helping boys develop new interests and skills

Friendly Service

  • Show how to be helpful and do one's best

Fun and Adventure

  • Provide fun and exciting new things to do

Preparation for Boy Scouts

  • Prepare boys to become Boy Scouts
