Parent coordinator

The Parent coordinator is an registered adult volunteer who assigns and coordinates the participation by parents with at least one specific task, assignment, or project annually for the unit. The parent coordinator can also register in the same troop in one other registered adult volunteer position.

The position code is PC. The position requires the payment of the regular registration and insurance fees required for all adult volunteers. Training requirements for this position are the same as for committee members. (See Trained for more information).

Prior to July 1, 2013, this position was known as the ScoutParents unit coordinator. It was renamed when the ScoutParents program ended on that date.
