Citizenship

Citizenship is the second of the Aims of Scouting:
- "Used broadly, citizenship means the boy's relationship to others. He comes to learn obligations to other people, to the society he lives in, and to the government that presides over that society."
- Cub Scouting uses seven specific methods to achieve Scouting's aims of helping boys and young adults build character, train in the responsibilities of citizenship, and develop personal fitness. Citizenship is one of the Character Connections
- Webelos work on outdoor skills, physically fitness, and learn more about citizenship and working with others.
- The Boy Scout program is designed to develop a boy's character, citizenship, and personal fitness...The Patrol Method gives Boy Scouts an experience in group living and participating citizenship.
- Varsity Scouting promotes growth through spirituality, leadership abilities, citizenship, social and cultural attributes, and physical fitness.
