Beefarming is a discontinued merit badge. Beefarming Merit Badge was one of the original merit badges in 1911. It was discontinued in 1914, being renamed Bee Keeping in 1915.

Merit badge requirements

1. Have a practical knowledge of swarming, hiving, hives and general apiculture, including a knowledge of the use of artificial combs.
2. Describe different kinds of honey and tell from what sources gathered.

Notes

The design of the bee keeping merit badge has changed four times - with a different version of the bee each time.
