What is a Bureaucrat?

• Technically, a Bureaucrat is an also administrator, just like the Sysops; but, who also has the additional responsibility for:

• maintaining the MediaWiki software on the server,
• "guiding" the Sysops, as well as
• promoting (and demoting) Super Users and Sysops

• A Bureaucrat's primary goal is to develop a "wiki" environment that will attract Users and foster their desire to grow the wiki.
